Happy 1st Anniversary....

to my fabulous, sweet, and amazing husband! I am so lucky to have married my best friend a year ago today. I thank God each and everyday for blessing me with such an awesome husband. This past year has been great! We have survived living in a camper, building a house, a flood and so much more.  Our relationship continues to grow and get stronger everyday. I can't wait to spend many many more years together!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

This Time Last Year....

This day last year we were having our Rehearsal Dinner and getting ready for a wedding!  Everything went so smooth and it was all stress free (thanks to my very organized Sister and Aunt).  I couldn't of asked for a better wedding party. Not to mention it consisted of 39 of our closest friends and family. :) We wouldn't of had it any other way though. We loved getting to share this special day with all our friends and family and we're honored they wanted to be apart of it.

Wedding Week.... SHOWER Time!

This time last year we were getting ready to have a Wedding!! It's hard to believe that Logan and I have almost been married a year!  This week I thought I would share all the pictures and memories that lead up to our big day.

I must say I really enjoyed every part of the wedding planning and didn't really stress about any of it.  I loved having all our family and friends together.  Logan and I am very blessed and thankful to have such wonderful friends and family that love and care so much about us. We say all the time how we wish we could go back and do it all over again.  We wouln't change a thing if we did!!

Last summer I spent most of my Saturday's showering it up at all the fabulous showers we had. The first shower was held by my church family that I miss getting to see so much.. Thank you to the ladies at the Presbyterian Church!

The Gracious Hostesses!!

My West Memphis Girls!!

Some of my Bridesmaids!

Shower #2--- Mom's wonderful friends hosted a fantastic shower.  These ladies are all very special to me and most of them taught me sooner or later in school.

I would be lost without these 3 women! Words can't explain how much I love and appreciate these women!

I get by with a little help from my friends! What great bridesmaids I had!

My sweet Molly and Jackie! Ohh how I miss getting to see the Carter family.

This handsome little boy has grown up so much since last summer!! Logan and I enjoy him so much! We love all the time we get to spend with him.

Then we headed to Success for a very Successful shower! My new church family did such a great job at hosting a shower! I am enjoying getting to know these lovely ladies!

Gram's and Nonna are proud of their grandchilden!

Check back tomorrow for more SHOWER pictures and wedding fun!

Ezekiel 34:25-26
I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety. I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing

HAPPY Happiness Happens Day!!

Did you know that today was Happiness Happens Day?? Who would of known that there was a day that we should aim to spread the joy of being HAPPY, and to persuade people to look on the brighter side of life. Shouldn't we aim to be HAPPY everyday?  Go ahead and smile at a stranger or say Hi to someone you don't know.  You never know when a smile will make someone's day! :)

I thought I would share my fun and cute find that I picked up at the post office today...
I absolutely love these "love" stamps. Who doesn't want to send a card and put these cute Love stamps on them??

Ecclesiastes 3:12
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be HAPPY and do good while they live.

Lazy and PEACEful Saturday!!

Today was the first Saturday since I can rememeber that I have laid in bed till almost 11 doing nothing but watching TV and reading magazines.  It is nice to have a lazy and PEACEful Saturday every now and then.  After I finally decided to get out of bed to see the sun shinning I got ready to go to the river.  One of the things I love most about living in the middle of nowhere is that less than a half a mile away is this PEACEful and beautiful little getaway, also known as the Current River.  The Current River is a very clean and cool river that is great for floating, canoeing, and kayaking. I enjoy the time that I get to spend at this little paradise within reach.  This is my Maywood!!

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  *Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

RAIN

I will leave you with this picture... A couple of months again we were
singing "rain rain go away come again another day" and now we are
telling it to come again just please not this much!

This was our island we lived on during Flood '11. I really hope we
don't see this much rain again anytime soon!

Bring On the RAIN!!

Sorry it has been soOoOo long since my last blog post. I started blogging almost a year ago to keep everyone update while Logan and I were on our Honeymoon in Maui! Then, somewhere along the way I stopped! The other day I started looking back at our blog and realized how much I really enjoyed and missed doing it.  So, I made a New Years Resolution (a very early one) hahah... I am going to do my best to start blogging again.  When people would ask me why I haven't been blogging I would reply because my life consists of work, cooking dinner, and bed. Well then I decided that not every day is suppose to be filled with excitement, is it??  So on my 40 minute drive home from work today, I started thinking about what I was going to blog about and finally I have figured it out.  I have decided to pick a word everyday that describes the day I am having or a word that has made a difference in my day. Since I enjoy my daily scripture I receive via email each day, I am going to find a Bible verse that has my word it in.  Maybe this will create some excitement and also help me grow spiritually.  We will see how it works!!

Can you guess what my word is today?!?!

RAIN

It seems like so many people around the world are praying for RAIN these days! We were very blessed this afternoon to get a half inch of rain.  We were able to turn some bean water off and my Farmer is in a much better mood!
Luke Bryan says it best...
My daddy spent his life lookin' up at the sky
He'd cuss, kick the dust, sayin' son it's way too dry
It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains
But where I come from, RAIN is a good thing.
I hope all you farmers are blessed with some RAIN in the next couple of days!
Sorry I don't have any pictures from today but believe me I have plenty to catch you all up on.  I still have to give all of you the tour of my exciting new town I live in! :) Hope you all enjoy the word game.  Now it's time for bed!
Psalms 147:7-8 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth RAIN for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
