Lazy weekend!

Last weekend we had a several things on the agenda, but we decided to just stay home and do nothing! It was a much needed lazy weekend at home!

Friday after dinner we headed out for our nightly 3 mile walk. Mullen took a cat nap and I spent this time in prayer. This week close family and friends have needed our prayers. So many are dealing with illnesses, cancer, brain aneurysms, heartbreak, loss of loved ones, and much more. My heart is heavy and sad, but I know they are all in God's hands and he takes care of his children!!

Something about the gravel road puts this sweet boy to sleep!

He loves our walks probably more than mommy does some days!

Love living in the country!

Saturday morning Mullen found a new favorite food! Greek yogurt and blueberries. Yummy!! I hope he continues to enjoy the healthy foods in life.

He enjoyed watching daddy mow the grass!

After lunch we headed to the river with Gram's to enjoy some rays and good conversation! We weren't there thirty minutes and this little boy was out!

It was a beautiful relaxing day at the river! After the river we enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner prepared by Pa! He's a good cook!!

Sunday we got up and went to church. Mullen was asleep when we left so I forgot to take a picture. After church we went to eat lunch at Nanaw and Papa's and then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at home. Mullen helped get his bottles out of the dishwasher! What is it with babies and dishwashers?? He is getting into everything!!

Boys will be boys!

All in all it was a wonderful weekend with my two favorites!

Weekend Getaway

Logan and I left Saturday morning and flew to St. Louis to spend the weekend and celebrate our Anniversary a little early!! This is something we have done every year since we have been married (well except for last year). We always enjoy going to the Cardinals game and just hanging out! It's a little bit harder for us to get away with Mullen, but I'm so thankful that Aunt Brooke and Nonna came to the house to keep him!! I know he had a blast! We sure missed him though!

Getting ready to leave!

Hello Busch Stadium!! Oh.. How we have missed you!

Hanging out in Ball Park Village before lunch.

Look at this view from one of the restaurants in BPV!

After lunch we went through the Cardinals Museum and Hall of Fame!

It was actually really neat and Logan really enjoyed it! Hopefully Mullen will have an appreciation for Baseball like his daddy does!

Holding Ozzie Smith's bat!

Mullen got his very first Cardinals jersey!

We had the best time!

BPV before the game!

We had awesome seats! What do you expect when your husband is in charge of buying the tickets!

Besides the fact it was $5.50 I loved the idea of cardinals water!

It's a cardinals win!!

We stayed in Union Station this visit since the hotel next to the ballpark was all sold out. It was actually pretty neat and a very pretty hotel!

I loved getting pictures of this little guy! I know he kept Nonna and Aunt B on their toes!

I am so thankful to have the best mom and sister!! I came home to all of our laundry done, Mullen taken care of, and my closet cleaned out!! I think we might should go out of town more often!!
