HAPPY Happiness Happens Day!!

Did you know that today was Happiness Happens Day?? Who would of known that there was a day that we should aim to spread the joy of being HAPPY, and to persuade people to look on the brighter side of life. Shouldn't we aim to be HAPPY everyday?  Go ahead and smile at a stranger or say Hi to someone you don't know.  You never know when a smile will make someone's day! :)

I thought I would share my fun and cute find that I picked up at the post office today...
I absolutely love these "love" stamps. Who doesn't want to send a card and put these cute Love stamps on them??

Ecclesiastes 3:12
I know that there is nothing better for men than to be HAPPY and do good while they live.

Lazy and PEACEful Saturday!!

Today was the first Saturday since I can rememeber that I have laid in bed till almost 11 doing nothing but watching TV and reading magazines.  It is nice to have a lazy and PEACEful Saturday every now and then.  After I finally decided to get out of bed to see the sun shinning I got ready to go to the river.  One of the things I love most about living in the middle of nowhere is that less than a half a mile away is this PEACEful and beautiful little getaway, also known as the Current River.  The Current River is a very clean and cool river that is great for floating, canoeing, and kayaking. I enjoy the time that I get to spend at this little paradise within reach.  This is my Maywood!!

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  *Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

RAIN

I will leave you with this picture... A couple of months again we were
singing "rain rain go away come again another day" and now we are
telling it to come again just please not this much!

This was our island we lived on during Flood '11. I really hope we
don't see this much rain again anytime soon!

Bring On the RAIN!!

Sorry it has been soOoOo long since my last blog post. I started blogging almost a year ago to keep everyone update while Logan and I were on our Honeymoon in Maui! Then, somewhere along the way I stopped! The other day I started looking back at our blog and realized how much I really enjoyed and missed doing it.  So, I made a New Years Resolution (a very early one) hahah... I am going to do my best to start blogging again.  When people would ask me why I haven't been blogging I would reply because my life consists of work, cooking dinner, and bed. Well then I decided that not every day is suppose to be filled with excitement, is it??  So on my 40 minute drive home from work today, I started thinking about what I was going to blog about and finally I have figured it out.  I have decided to pick a word everyday that describes the day I am having or a word that has made a difference in my day. Since I enjoy my daily scripture I receive via email each day, I am going to find a Bible verse that has my word it in.  Maybe this will create some excitement and also help me grow spiritually.  We will see how it works!!

Can you guess what my word is today?!?!

RAIN

It seems like so many people around the world are praying for RAIN these days! We were very blessed this afternoon to get a half inch of rain.  We were able to turn some bean water off and my Farmer is in a much better mood!
Luke Bryan says it best...
My daddy spent his life lookin' up at the sky
He'd cuss, kick the dust, sayin' son it's way too dry
It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains
But where I come from, RAIN is a good thing.
I hope all you farmers are blessed with some RAIN in the next couple of days!
Sorry I don't have any pictures from today but believe me I have plenty to catch you all up on.  I still have to give all of you the tour of my exciting new town I live in! :) Hope you all enjoy the word game.  Now it's time for bed!
Psalms 147:7-8 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth RAIN for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
