Happy 2 month Birthday to our precious Mullen

Seriously where has the time gone?? How can this little guy already be 2 months old?

Boy how you have grown so fast!

-You eat 4 oz every 3 hours
-You love to play on the floor and kick your legs.

- You normally sleep from 8-2 and then grunt and toss and turn from 4-7.
- You love your bath time.

- You are a very bouncy baby. You love to be bounced and moving all the time. ( I think you get this from your momma)
- You are spoiled to your momma.
- You are still a very fussy baby and have tummy issues.
- You are starting to smile more and more each day.
- You are focusing more on people, objects, and lights.
- You love to stare at lights.
- You love to be in the car and stroller.
- You still look just like your Poppa!

Who can have a 2 month birthday without cupcakes? Before long you will be able to join in and eat one too!

If only mommy would let you have a taste.

You were trying so hard to get you a lick of the icing!

Daddy time!

Mullen enjoyed playing at the office with his cousin today while I had to run to an appointment in Jonesboro.

Aren't these boys just the cutest!

Uncle Bill and Sara came for a visit today. We always enjoy getting to visit with them!

What a crazy, sleepless, but ohhhh so wonderful 2 months it has been! I am so blessed God picked your daddy and I to be your parents!! You have changed our lives for the better! We catch ourselves just starring at you wondering what you will be like when you get older and wishing you would stay small forever! We love our little family!

Happy 2 months!! We love you to the moon and back and then some!

Playing catch up!!

I have planned to get the blog back up and running since Mullen was born, but with everything else going on and all the craziness I just haven't felt up to it! Well... since several are asking I am going to try my very best to keep you all updated on this precious little guy!!

We have lots of catching up to do and several pictures to post. So here we go!!

Since Mullen was in the NICU for 6 days most of his first pictures were taken in there. There were several days that we didn't take any pictures because we were following the NICU no phone policy/camera policy but once you get to know all the nurses in the hospital and in the NICU you can get by with a little more. :) The NICU and nursing staff at Baptist Women's hospital were fabulous and I can't say enough good things about them!

Mommy's big boy!!

On the days I was hooked up to the magnesium drip Daddy, Aunt Emily, Aunt Brooke, and Nonna all took turns going down to feed baby Mullen. We were so thankful to have family close by that could come to help out!

Our sweet boy!

One proud daddy!

Mullen was released from the NICU on Monday and mommy had to stay until that Friday. At this time he went and stayed at Aunt Brooke's and Uncle Ray's house. Many people helped take care of Mullen at night time. Thanks to Grams, Nonna, Aunt Brooke, and Aunt Emily for helping out with nighttime feedings. Mommy was so sad she couldn't keep him, but I knew he was in good hands!

We finally were released from the hospital on October 4th. This was a day I looked forward to for over 9 months, I just wish I would have felt up to taking pictures and enjoying this precious day more!

The little guy was ready to go home and see his new room!

We were so thankful that Nonna came to help out for a few days. I'm not sure we would have made it without her.

I have enjoyed every minute of being a mommy and being at home with Mullen, but I'm already dreading going back to work!! It will definitely be a very hard day!

We have enjoyed all our visitors that have come to visit both in the hospital and at home. Here are a few pictures..

We love Tara!! She is very special to us!

Lynne and Julie,Terie, Donna and Sam, Bro. Bob, Renee, Ms. Kathy, Tara, Angie and of course all of our wonderful families came to the hospital to visit and I really hate we didn't get pictures of everyone. As always we enjoyed their visits!

Poppa and Nonna came to the hospital almost everyday sometimes a couple of times a day to check on us!

Grams and Pa couldn't wait to get their hands on the little guy!

Aunt Blayne and Angie got in on some snuggle time!

When we got home we had several visitors! Mullen has really enjoyed meeting everyone.

I love this picture of Nanaw and Uncle Bill!

Christy and James came to visit a few times and brought us a yummy dinner!

We love sweet Libby, Alex, and of course Glenna! We are so lucky for all they have done and to have them in our lives!

Matt and Hollie came and brought us a delicious BBQ dinner! These 2 are so excited about Mullen and Mullen was excited to see them!!

Mullen and his cousins! I know they are going to have so much fun getting into trouble one day.

We always love spending time with Aunt Brooke!! She even cooked us a very yummy dinner!

Mullen and Renee! Mullen will be spending lots of time with Nay come the first of the year!

Mullen and his great aunt Mona!

Mullen and his Poppa and Pa!! These 2 men will be spoiling him rotten before long!

I'm sure I have forgotten several pictures of our visitors and I hate that I don't have pictures of everyone to share. We want to thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers and for coming to visit!!

Until next time...
