Mullen 1st Christmas at Granny and Papa's!

Today started our first Christmas celebration and Mullen's first Christmas at Granny and Papa's in Cherokee Village. Normally we have their Christmas on Christmas Day, but with all our families growing we decided to start having it before Christmas. We enjoyed a fun day with family! It was so nice not having to hurry and rush around to get there. We could just enjoy the day and the true meaning of Christmas!

Getting a few zZzZ's in before we left.

Sweet boy taking it all in!

Mommy and her baby boy!! What a fun Christmas this is going to be!

Getting ready to play dirty Santa!

Jon has started boot camp and is living off MRE's right now, so Aunt Judy thought it would be funny to wrap up an MRE. Logan was the lucky one that received it, but he came out with the best present there he said... Wool socks and a new shaving bag!

Mullen with his Gram and Pa!

Daddy had to squeeze in a little cat nap on his Mommy and Mullen on Aunt Judy!

Ready for round 2!

Cousin time!! Easton isn't real sure why Mullen can't play just yet! Before long these two will have so much fun playing and getting into everything!

Happy boy had a great day!!

I would say Mullen's first of 5 Christmas's was a success!!

So thankful for our Christmas blessing this year! Our present came early!

Happy Birthday Pa!!

Today is Pa's birthday but since we are celebrating Christmas today with his side of the family we celebrated his birthday last night! We are so blessed to have Pa in our lives! He is such a loving and caring Pa and Father-in-Law! I know him and Mullen will be best buds before long!! I am so thankful that he loves Mullen so much already! I know he will teach him so much and I have no doubt he will cover up what the boys break and mess up!! :) That's what Pa's are for right!!

Birthday smiles until Pa received his real birthday present from Mullen! Spit up!!

Don't look at Mullen's hair. This weather does nothing for his hair! Ha

Pa opening his birthday presents!

Don't make me leave my Gram and Pa's mommy!! I know we will be hearing these words before to long!!

Happy Birthday Pa!! We love you!! Thank you for all you do for us!!

What a weekend and the beginning to a busy week...

This weekend was packed full with a wedding and several Christmas parties!

Logan and I started the weekend off with a rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Jonesboro Country Club for two very special people! Laura was my little sis in Chi Omega and is one of my best friends!!

Here we are before step show several years ago!

Kyle and Laura have been together since High School and decided it was time to tie the knot. The two of them are in pharmacy school and took finals all week and then came and got married! Not sure how she functioned to study!! I sure wouldn't be able to if I was getting married this week!

The sweet card I received in the mail asking me to be her bridesmaid!! I was so honored to stand beside her!

While we went the the rehearsal Mullen stayed with Grams and Pa!! We are so thankful to have them right down the street and that they are willing to keep Mullen when we need them too!

Pa and Mullen enjoying a relaxing Friday night.

Saturday I had to leave early for the wedding so Mullen and Logan spent the day bonding. :)

Side note: I have to brag on Logan for a minute. He deserves the father of the year award for all he has done to help with Mullen this past week!! He kept Mullen overnight while I had to go to Dallas for work this week. They did great besides the fact Mullen got up at 4 and didn't want to go back to sleep! Makes for a long day when that happens. Now back to the wedding.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Laura did a fabulous job with all the little details. It was such a classy and elegant wedding just like her.

These wreaths were just beautiful for a Christmas wedding.

The gorgeous bride!

How pretty are these pew markers.

Laura with her bridesmaids!

These wedding mad libs were too cute!

Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Thompson!!

Congratulations to Kyle and Laura!! I am so happy for the both of you and wish you all the happiness you both deserve! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day!

Sunday we had our annual ornament exchange party. This year Lisa hosted the party at her house since I just wasn't up to it. Everything was great and we had a wonderful turnout! So many people always tell me how they enjoy the ornament party and I'm so glad we can host it. It's always such a fun time!!

The yummy food table!

Sweet Libby and Mullen!

Jackson was such a big helper when it came to everyone opening their ornaments! He went around the room and opened them all and then showed us all the ornament. He was so funny and too cute!! Christmas should be fun this year!

Aunt Donna and Aunt Alma got in on some Mullen time.

Christy and Mullen!

All the partying wore this little guy out!

Mullen loves snuggle time with his great aunt Mona!

I would say he was a little tuckered out from all the fun!

Due to the ice storm we had last weekend the Harbor Town Christmas Parade was postponed until this weekend and unfortunately we had to miss out! We even had some Christmas Vacation gear ready to go so we had to take a quick picture. We will save it for next year!

Mullen with his cousin Eddie hat on.

Sunday night Bro. Bob and Mrs. Helen had an open house at their house for everyone at the church to stop bye and see their house all decorated and for food and fellowship!

Aren't these boys just the cutest!! I look forward to many more pictures of these 4 together. I hope and pray they grow up to be good friend and have many memories together!

Jackson and baby Mullen!!

Sweet cousins!! Love these precious boys!

We had a great time visiting with everyone outside of church. What a busy but fun filled weekend we had!

This week started out just as crazy with me getting ready to leave for a work trip to Dallas Tuesday and Wednesday. All in all the meetings went good and we had a good visit. It was really great to see some of my FedEx family, but I sure did miss Mullen and Logan!! This was my first time to leave the little guy since I've been out of the hospital and it was soooo hard! I knew he was in good hands but I still worried and didn't sleep well!

Logan would send me pictures throughout the day I think to ensure me he was ok! Haha

Thanks to all that helped take care of him while I was gone! I couldn't have done it without you!

Our meeting ran over just a little so I felt like we looked like the scene from Home Alone where they were all running through the airport!! Haha that was us! Luckily we all 4 made it and we were back to Little Rock in no time.

I was so glad to see this view!

This coming up weekend is packed full with a birthday party and the start of Christmas! My favorite time of the year!

Until next time....
