What a Weekend...

  After my 4 hour delay in the busy Atlanta Airport, I was finally glad to make it back to West Memphis Friday afternoon around 2.  Just in time for some family fun!! Lily decided she wanted to come and spend the weekend with her Nonna, Papa, Aunt Brooke, and Aunt Moll.  We definitely had a busy weekend filled with lots of laughter and fun.

  Friday night Momma, Brooke, and I took Lily to see the 3D Lion King!  She loved it and the whole way home she kept tell us she wanted to be in the movie. 

Since Lily has been going to work with Caleb in the mornings, her internal alarm clock went off at 6:00 A.M....Seriously??? So we woke up at 6:00 and went to Walmart and to a garage sale or a party sale as Lily called it.

We then got ready and went to Disney on Ice! Thanks to Aunt Brooke we had awesome front roll seats. Lily never took her eyes off the show!



After Disney on Ice Lily and I went to meet Emily at Autumn on the Square in Marianna.  There was a great turn out and lots of cute goodies.

After pony rides, snow cones, and some shopping we were all happy campers.  That night I went to a couple shower for Lauren and Josh.  I hate I didn't have my camera to take some pictures.  We have a great time and I enjoyed getting to spend some time with one of my favorite couples.  The wedding is getting close and I can't wait for this weekends shower!

Then it was time to go Home Sweet Home to my sweet husband! It was great to finally make it home after several days of being on the road. 

Sunday Logan and I got up and went to church, had lunch at Nanaw's, and then had a lazy Sunday! 

What a weekend!! 

For the rest of the week..

I will be a city girl again! This time in Atlanta. I have a new
account in the big city that I will be meeting with this week. Here
is the view from the 14th floor of the hotel I'm staying in. Not to
shabby, but after 3 day of the city I'm sure I will be ready to go
back to my quiet country living! :)

For our 1st Anniversary, I had a good friend of the family, Holly Buntin Johnson, paint Logan a picture of our house! I was so happy with how it turned out and Logan absolutely loved it (like I knew he would!) I have really enjoyed showing it off and can't wait to get it framed!!

She also does super cute invitations like this one she did for a luncheon that Elaine, Holly, and Mrs. Donna had for me!! Thanks again.. Everytime I go in the guest bedroom and see this invitation framed it brings back such sweet memories!

 

This painting of Bush Stadium made it on Logan's grooms table at our wedding! :) It now has a home on Logan's dresser...

Holly also did a fantastic job of painting my in-laws house and her owl magnets and notecards make such great and unique gifts for my Chi O sisters!  Thank you, Holly for always doing such a fabulous job! Can't wait to add more of your artwork to our house.

Showering with LOVE!

Yesterday I helped host a shower for one of my dear, sweet, and absolutely wonderful friend, Lauren. I am so honored that Lauren asked me to be a part of her special day and can't wait for her Fall wedding in November. We had such a great time yesterday showering Lauren with gifts for her and Josh's new house.

It's Harvest Time!!

After a long and stressful week at work...

I loved being able to enjoy my Saturday afternoon with Mom, Brooke,
Emily, and of course Miss Lily.

Tuesday was Lisa's birthday, but due to everyones crazy schedules we
had to celebrate last night. We enjoyed each others company as well as
some great food!
