Happy 2 month Birthday to our precious Mullen

Seriously where has the time gone?? How can this little guy already be 2 months old?

Boy how you have grown so fast!

-You eat 4 oz every 3 hours
-You love to play on the floor and kick your legs.

- You normally sleep from 8-2 and then grunt and toss and turn from 4-7.
- You love your bath time.

- You are a very bouncy baby. You love to be bounced and moving all the time. ( I think you get this from your momma)
- You are spoiled to your momma.
- You are still a very fussy baby and have tummy issues.
- You are starting to smile more and more each day.
- You are focusing more on people, objects, and lights.
- You love to stare at lights.
- You love to be in the car and stroller.
- You still look just like your Poppa!

Who can have a 2 month birthday without cupcakes? Before long you will be able to join in and eat one too!

If only mommy would let you have a taste.

You were trying so hard to get you a lick of the icing!

Daddy time!

Mullen enjoyed playing at the office with his cousin today while I had to run to an appointment in Jonesboro.

Aren't these boys just the cutest!

Uncle Bill and Sara came for a visit today. We always enjoy getting to visit with them!

What a crazy, sleepless, but ohhhh so wonderful 2 months it has been! I am so blessed God picked your daddy and I to be your parents!! You have changed our lives for the better! We catch ourselves just starring at you wondering what you will be like when you get older and wishing you would stay small forever! We love our little family!

Happy 2 months!! We love you to the moon and back and then some!

Playing catch up!!

I have planned to get the blog back up and running since Mullen was born, but with everything else going on and all the craziness I just haven't felt up to it! Well... since several are asking I am going to try my very best to keep you all updated on this precious little guy!!

We have lots of catching up to do and several pictures to post. So here we go!!

Since Mullen was in the NICU for 6 days most of his first pictures were taken in there. There were several days that we didn't take any pictures because we were following the NICU no phone policy/camera policy but once you get to know all the nurses in the hospital and in the NICU you can get by with a little more. :) The NICU and nursing staff at Baptist Women's hospital were fabulous and I can't say enough good things about them!

Mommy's big boy!!

On the days I was hooked up to the magnesium drip Daddy, Aunt Emily, Aunt Brooke, and Nonna all took turns going down to feed baby Mullen. We were so thankful to have family close by that could come to help out!

Our sweet boy!

One proud daddy!

Mullen was released from the NICU on Monday and mommy had to stay until that Friday. At this time he went and stayed at Aunt Brooke's and Uncle Ray's house. Many people helped take care of Mullen at night time. Thanks to Grams, Nonna, Aunt Brooke, and Aunt Emily for helping out with nighttime feedings. Mommy was so sad she couldn't keep him, but I knew he was in good hands!

We finally were released from the hospital on October 4th. This was a day I looked forward to for over 9 months, I just wish I would have felt up to taking pictures and enjoying this precious day more!

The little guy was ready to go home and see his new room!

We were so thankful that Nonna came to help out for a few days. I'm not sure we would have made it without her.

I have enjoyed every minute of being a mommy and being at home with Mullen, but I'm already dreading going back to work!! It will definitely be a very hard day!

We have enjoyed all our visitors that have come to visit both in the hospital and at home. Here are a few pictures..

We love Tara!! She is very special to us!

Lynne and Julie,Terie, Donna and Sam, Bro. Bob, Renee, Ms. Kathy, Tara, Angie and of course all of our wonderful families came to the hospital to visit and I really hate we didn't get pictures of everyone. As always we enjoyed their visits!

Poppa and Nonna came to the hospital almost everyday sometimes a couple of times a day to check on us!

Grams and Pa couldn't wait to get their hands on the little guy!

Aunt Blayne and Angie got in on some snuggle time!

When we got home we had several visitors! Mullen has really enjoyed meeting everyone.

I love this picture of Nanaw and Uncle Bill!

Christy and James came to visit a few times and brought us a yummy dinner!

We love sweet Libby, Alex, and of course Glenna! We are so lucky for all they have done and to have them in our lives!

Matt and Hollie came and brought us a delicious BBQ dinner! These 2 are so excited about Mullen and Mullen was excited to see them!!

Mullen and his cousins! I know they are going to have so much fun getting into trouble one day.

We always love spending time with Aunt Brooke!! She even cooked us a very yummy dinner!

Mullen and Renee! Mullen will be spending lots of time with Nay come the first of the year!

Mullen and his great aunt Mona!

Mullen and his Poppa and Pa!! These 2 men will be spoiling him rotten before long!

I'm sure I have forgotten several pictures of our visitors and I hate that I don't have pictures of everyone to share. We want to thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers and for coming to visit!!

Until next time...

It's a BOY!! Baby Jett's Gender Reveal Party!!

Sunday, May 26th we finally found out we were having a little boy, Mullen Heath!  Logan and I went to see Dr. Pilgrim on that Thursday before to have an ultrasound and to see our precious little one!  It seemed like it had been forever since we had seen our baby!  This was also the fetal survey appointment so we got to count fingers and toes and look at all the organs. Dr. Pilgrim said everything looks great and we have a healthy baby with all our fingers and toes.  This makes for a happy Momma!! All I have prayed for since day one is that we have a healthy baby the gender didn't matter.  When it came time for her to reveal the gender Logan turned around and I closed my eyes, so we could wait and find out the gender with our family and close friends!  I'm so glad we waited to find out, it made for a more exciting reveal.  It wasn't much of a challenge for me since I have waited this long what was a few more days.  Now Logan on the other hand I had to make sure the envelope was hidden at all time. :) Thank goodness we didn't have the envelope with us that long.  On our way home from the Dr. we stopped by Jeny's Cakery in Jonesboro and gave her our little secret envelope and she did a fabulous job at keeping our secret for us! Saturday I met mom in Jonesboro and we enjoyed a little bit of shopping and picked up both the cake and the cookies from Christina.  If you have never had cookies from Cookies are my Canvas you are missing out!  Christina knows how to make some yummy cookies and they always looks adorable!  I'm so thankful mom came early to help me get ready for the party.  She was wonderful help and did an awesome job at cleaning our porch and helping to get everything ready!

Sunday Daddy, Brooke, and Ray came early to help with all the final touches!  They were all a lot of help and I always enjoy getting to spend time with them.  Emily, Lily, and Layne came around lunch and we all enjoyed a picnic lunch on our nice clean porch.  I can never get enough of family time and was glad they spent the night on Sunday!

 Family picture!

As always Brooke did an amazing job with the flowers and I love how this table turned out! So cute!

The food table minus a few items.

The delicious cake that held the reveal!

Didn't Momma do a fabulous job at the baby bed?  She even managed to finish it with a cut finger and all!  I have such a talented family!

The precious cookies from Cookies are My Canvas!

Love this door hanger that Aunt Emily passed along to Baby Jett!

Pure cuteness!!

It's a BOY!!

This Grams and Nonna both wore their pink in hopes for a little girl but they both agreed they would be happy with a sweet boy!!

I enjoyed getting to spend time with our family and friends! I wish I had a picture of everyone that came in their pink or blue shirts!  We had about 32 people come and I think the blue shirts outnumbered the pink! What a wonderful day it was.  I'm so blessed that God has chosen Logan and I to be Mullen's parents.  I'm so thankful for our little blessing and can't wait to meet him in October. I thank God for answered prayers and continue to pray for all those that have been trying for their little blessing!  God is good and will answer your prayers when the timing is right!

Baby Jett Update!!

Last week Logan and I went and saw Dr. Pilgrim and got to hear baby Jett's heartbeat!! What a precious sound it was!! :) It was sweet music to this Mommy and Daddy's ears! Everything is going well and his/her heartbeat was 176! The baby is now the size of a lemon and is 3 inches long and weighs about 1.5 ounces! We go back the end of this month and the middle of May we get to find out if Baby Jett will be a boy or a girl! I feel like a little kid at Christmas time! I can't wait for May to get here!!

This week was the beginning of the 2nd Trimester only 26 weeks and 5 more days to go!! I must say I can't complain about anything so far. I think it's safe to say now that I have not been sick any and have had a smooth pregnancy so far! I pray the rest of the pregnancy is this smooth! :)

Baby Jett has already started receiving gifts!! I love how Nonna put a sweet bow on this cute owl outfit just incase we needed it! She also knew this Chewbead necklace would come in handy when the baby started teething. Aunt Brooke knew baby Jett needed a Sophie! Aunt Judy sent this precious swaddle blanket and Aunt Karen sent the homemade teething rabbit! One of my favorite gifts is that Nanaw sent baby hangers that she has kept since Logan's mom and aunt were little! How sweet!

Aunt Em sent two big Tupperware bins full of maternity clothes!! Just in time because my pants are getting a little snug. I am so thankful she is sharing her cute maternity clothes with us!

Until next time....
